A work in progress

From an idea
to something you can hold.

This is a form study for Local Voice, a local speech-and-answer device from Long Tail Inference Lab.

The first build uses a Jetson Orin Nano Super, a USB microphone and speaker, a physical button, and mains power. The parts are ordered; hardware assembly and validation are next.

The illustrations simplify the components. The final enclosure and cable routing are conceptual; a screen, battery, and portable enclosure are deferred. Zero comparative quality or performance measurements are published for Mac, iPhone, or Jetson.
